In November 2024, Press Glass UK officially launched its new glass production base in Talbot Port, marking the beginning of a new stage of strategic integration of the company's "three factories in one" strategy. This modern factory covering an area of 23000 square meters is not only a key step for Press Glass UK to optimize its production layout, but also an important pivot for improving its automation level and seizing market opportunities.
In terms of equipment configuration in the new factory, Press Glass UK has made a high specification plan: introducing 6 insulated glass production lines from LiSEC, 7 LiSEC cutting tables, and 3 LiSEC KSR edge grinders, along with 3 tempering furnaces provided by another supplier. The strong equipment lineup endows the new factory with excellent production capacity - currently, it can stably produce 32000 sets of insulated glass units (IGUs) per week, and the future production capacity can be increased to up to 55000 sets/week, leaving ample space to cope with market demand growth.
